Meet Dr. Jordan Bell

Chiropractor Seward, Dr. Jordan BellWhen he was about 11 years old, Dr. Bell’s mother was in a bad farming accident. She was caught between a cow and a creep feeder. As a result, she herniated a disc in her neck, which caused many issues. His mother also had a spinal fusion and nothing helped-until she saw a chiropractor. “After just a few visits, she was pain-free.”

Dr. Bell thought, “If he can do that for her, I want to do that for lots of people!” The remarkable results his mother got fueled his interest in becoming a chiropractor.

Then in his high school years, Dr. Bell was highly active in sports, FFA and 4-H. As a football player and wrestler, his body took a beating. “Our hometown chiropractor kept me going.” That’s when he decided to enter the natural healing profession and become a chiropractor.

Obtaining a Chiropractic Education

After completing his bachelor’s at Kansas State University, Dr. Bell attended Cleveland Chiropractic College. In addition to earning his Doctor of Chiropractic, he is certified in the Webster Technique and Activator Methods®. Dr. Bell is also highly proficient in the Prone Specific Technique.

Discovering the Benefits of Natural Healing

While at Cleveland, Dr. Bell witnessed the effects of chiropractic.

When we first started to adjust, we were adjusting our peers. It was amazing to see the incredible results they would get-such as finding relief from their headaches-after an adjustment.

While Dr. Bell had a lot of chiropractic friends in Nebraska, including some in Lincoln, he decided against setting up a practice in that big city. For him, it wasn’t a good fit. “I wanted to be within a five-hour drive of home and my parents.” An avid traveler, Dr. Bell also wanted to be within an hour of an international airport and also close to shopping and amenities.

One of Dr. Bell’s patients was a healthy 50-year-old man. Though everything looked good, Dr. Bell decided to take X-rays on him. “One of my philosophies is ‘you don’t know what you don’t know.’ So you want to see everything to provide a proper diagnosis.”

Because Dr. Bell took X-rays, he saw that the man had a six-centimeter abdominal aortic aneurysm. If the aneurysm had burst, the patient would have bled out on the table. Dr. Bell referred him to the ER. The patient was taken care of and is healthy with no issues.

When he’s not working, Dr. Bell loves to spend time outdoors. He particularly enjoys hunting, fishing and golfing. Dr. Bell also likes to cook and sometimes bake-he even made a wedding cake for a friend that turned out well! He also enjoys meeting up with a group once a week for coffee and breakfast.
